I’d never seen Tampopo until yesterday. I know. I know! It’s brilliant. But never have I had a stronger urge to both visit Japan again, and open my own ramen joint.

OMG Yes. We hadn’t seen it until Mr. Carden enlightened us a few years back. Best film, ever.
I’ve always thought Maureen would make a great noodle seller, wandering the streets with one of these: http://www.flickr.com/photos/taotsu-pro/4896148244/ and one of those japanese vuvuzelas. Joint venture? :-)
