It’s Christmas time, time for festivities, lack of Internet access, and servers crashing. Sigh. The move over to textdrive was unexpectedly hastened, due to my server at bytemark going up in smoke, and then being informed they deleted all the backups a few weeks ago.
Thankfully, I copied most things off onto here last week. A few things will be broken, most notably the weather rss feeds, as they needed to stay on the bytemark server as they strained my shared account here at textdrive too much.
Anyway, forget all that drivel, have a happy Christmas, and have a mince pie for all the sysadmins out there. Looking after servers and services is no fun, and I’m certainly getting too old to do it any more.
